What I can help you with

I want to acknowledge that you've already made a significant step in realising that you need support and actively seeking it. While I view my work as addressing the person and not the problem, here are some reasons you may choose to see me:

  • You appear to have a good life. Everything is 'fine' but inside you feel unfulfilled or in pain
  • You want to change something in your life but don't know what or how
  • You want to feel more balanced and at peace with yourself
  • The relationships you have (either personal or professional) leave you feeling unfulfilled
  • Your job is no longer fulfilling, and you're on the verge of burnout (or may already be there)
  • You just want to be listened to without the need of taking care of and putting other people’s interests first

I believe the fit between therapist and client is important, this is why I offer a free 15-minute online consultation so that you can get a feel of how we might work together. You can ask any questions you might have and we can decide whether we are a good fit.

About Me and How I Work

I am a clinically trained psychotherapist based in Auckland, New Zealand. I work in a relational way, incorporating attachment theory, mindfulness, and creative therapies. I believe that our past affects our present and since, as children, we developed in relationships with important others, this is also the way we can change.

I view myself as a guide on your journey towards yourself, walking alongside you to help illuminate areas you might not have considered exploring. In my presence, without the need to conform to a certain image or the fear of being judged, you will have a space where the outside noise stops and you can truly hear yourself.

My practice primarily focuses on long-term psychotherapy, as it takes time to unlearn unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I was a corporate lawyer; I understand burnout - what it feels like to function with little in the tank. But now, I also know that life can be different, and that having a fulfilling career and being creative, joyful and full of energy is actually possible. I want to help you get there as well. While tough times will always be a part of life, you don’t have to suffer unnecessarily anymore.

Metaphoric Associative Cards

In addition to traditional therapeutic methods, I also embrace creative therapies to provide a well-rounded and personalised experience. One such technique is the use of Metaphoric Associative or Therapeutic Cards, a powerful tool that employs visual metaphors to facilitate self-exploration and understanding.

These cards invite you to delve deeper into your subconscious, uncovering emotions and thoughts that may be difficult to access through verbal communication alone. By engaging your imagination and intuition, Metaphoric Associative Cards can lead to breakthroughs and foster personal growth.
